Senior Project Manager, Prince2, PMP, Migration, Infrastructure, Digital, Strategic Programs, Brussels, Belgium
Urgent mission
Rate: 525 per day
Mandatory Languages: English and French
Our client plans a various end user and technical projects to execute the mobility and digital workplace strategic programs. One of the key projects is the large-scale Workstation migration in 2018 in order to leverage new operation system Windows 10
- Prepare project charter in collaboration, IT architects and subject matter experts for submission to the steering board(s);
- Accurate
- Identify project risk, develop a project risk management plan and actively manage risk throughout the project life cycle;
- Ensure production of all necessary project documentation, from initiation to closure according to the governance standards and domain best practices;
- Assurance of deliverables' quality;
- Ensure respect of project milestones and deadlines;
- Optimal use of available resources;
- Organization, chairing and/or participation in workshops and meetings;
- Report on project progress;
- Monitoring of costs, timescales and resources used; action when they deviate from agreed tolerances;
- Chair project team and project steering committee meetings;
- Manage interaction between the customer (business manager and project owner), various stakeholders and the internal project team to ensure that appropriate relationships exist to produce positive project outcomes;
- Provision of effective leadership for the project team, ensuring that team members are motivated;
- Rigorous application of Project Management principles; Guarantee project methodology compliance and respect of project governance;
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Proven experience of managing projects related to End user facing and IT infrastructure technology related projects using various Microsoft technologies;
- Management of at least one large scale Microsoft operation system migration in a geographically distributed environment with worldwide sites;
- Proven experience in implementation of large projects with important business impact and major changes in the daily activities of the stakeholders.
- Good understanding of business requirements, service management and technology evolution;
- Understanding of workstations technologies (Windows 10, Office 2016, encryption, ), Servers (remote desktop, replication, application virtualization, ), storage and backup, IT security;
- Deep
- Great analytical capacity;
- Excellent English writing skills;
- Strong communication skills, both towards team and customer;
