For our client, a pharmaceutical company in Basel, Switzerland, we are looking for a motivated and ambitious:

SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER - PHARMA - BASEL/SWITZERLAND

DESCRIPTION

Managing programs and projects. Ensuring performance in terms of costs quality and deadlines.

Manage new Project to build a Solution called "Patient Access Dashboard" for our customer Global Product Strategy organization.

Required to act as Project Manager and secondary role as Business Analyst.
Required to write Project Lifecycle Documentation.
Expected workload 2015: 80 - 100%
Current forecast workload in 2016: 50-70% (may change)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
7+ years of experience as a successful Information Technology Project Manager using structured project management processes
Deep understanding of various SDLCs (Waterfall, Agile, iterative, prototyping, etc.)
Deep UNDERSTANDING of technology infrastructures (JAVA, TABLEAU)
Demonstrated competency planning and tracking project schedules with clearly-defined critical paths
Conduct proactive critical path & risk management for the project and take appropriate mitigation strategies
Proven ability to obtain results in a global, Matrix environment
Track record of delivering projects on time and on budget
Ability to see the interrelationship of a project across "the big picture" and understand
its dependency on other projects in the program as required
Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as presentation abilities
Demonstrated success communicating across a variety of audiences, including
business people and technologists (both up and down the organization)
Exceptional listening, problem solving, negotiation, and facilitation skills
Proven leadership abilities and emotional intelligence
Demonstrated success handling initiatives of significant complexity and risk
PMP required
Expertise in Business Analysis and Organizational Change Management (OCM)
Plus: Experience managing offshore contract resources

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leads, plans, manages and directs and project teams according to the Project Management standards.
Works with Service Managers, KAM's and IM project managers as required to define requirements and cost benefit analysis, to manage/control the project scope, and ensures that the project delivered meets the customer's needs
Manages project budget, in coordination with line management
Ensures project timely and qualitative delivery on budget to achieve the project's objectives and benefits
Prepares and maintains project plans (activities, schedules), and provides regular project status reports
Tracks project progress with respect to schedule, budget, and demonstrated project benefits. Recognizes out of line situations and take measures to bring project back on track
Resolves scope, schedule, resource and financial conflicts.
Drives and delivers project outcomes and transition them to operations.
Manages stakeholders expectations and project risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies (RAID)
Communicates with all stakeholders, management and project team as defined in the project communication plan
Manages external suppliers and contractors as required
Organizes and supervises the appropriate involvement of project resources
