Senior Project Manager - Pharma Background

Randstad IT Professionals is actively looking for a Senior Project Manager who is able to manage programs and projects ensuring performance in terms of costs, quality and deadlines for one of our exclusive pharmaceutical clients in Basel.

SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER - PHARMA BACKGROUND

Responsibilities:

Analyse and distill the initial project ideas.
Creation of project plans with goals, resources, milestones, costs, spend, approach, project structure, risk management within the project organization.
Evaluation of suppliers and evaluation of proposals.
Planning of personnel (definition of roles and responsibilities) for the program and associated projects. Recruiting, leading and assessing (qualifying) the project team members.
Definition of the project marketing strategy and communications plan.
Establishing the project relevant quality management procedures and implementing same.
Application of controlling mechanisms to influence the behavior of the project team and the external suppliers.
Consolidation of the status reports on the project. Defining and clarifying any deviations from the project plan.
Monitoring risk and implementing corrective actions.
Creating the project completion report and documentation of the learnings/experiences from the view of the project team.

Ideal to have:

Experience in managing very large, complex and global IT projects (5mCHF Budget) delivering business solutions
Stake holder management, people management, communication and negotiation skills, conflict management
Ability to lead workshops with large number of diverse participants (both from Business and IT)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
CSV and GxP experience
Experience in Pharma Clinical Operations processes and systems beneficial
PMP certified
Ability to travel up to 20%
