Senior Project Manager - Multiple Roles - 6 Month role

A fantastic opportunity has become available for experienced Senior Project Managers within a Government Department for a long-term non-ongoing role.

- 6 MONTH NON-ONGOING ROLE + EXTENSIONS

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Driving the delivery of the project outcomes;
- Develop project documentation within identified timeframes as outlined in the project schedule;
- Prepare weekly project status reports;
- Manage project risks and issues, and escalate issues that are outside of the project tolerances to the appropriate authorities through escalation processes such as producing exception reports;
- Manage project resources within the project budget and schedule parameters;
- Prepare project monthly financial forecasts;
- Manage the project budget within project tolerances;
- Prepare the project closure report; and
- Build and maintain stakeholder relationships.

SKILLS:

- Recognised project management industry qualifications;
- A proven track record with at least 5-years experience delivering complex ICT projects, with exposure to the transition of services is preferable;
- Highly developed communication skills with the ability to effectively engage at the Senior Executive levels;
- Extensive contract management experience in relation to negotiating and managing complex ICT contracts; and
- Experience in managing the implementation of the ITIL framework.
