SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER - MPG SWAP TO SSR

For our client TeliaSonera we are looking for a Senior Project Manager. The candidate must have strong experience with executing large complex projects.

THE PROJECT - MPG SWAP TO SSR

The PDN GW nodes in the Ericsson EPC network need to be upgraded in order to scale up for the ever increasing traffic growth. TeliaSonera plan to swap their PDN GWs across 6 of our networks in the Nordics and Baltics, to state of the art nodes over the next 12-18 months: To ensure this we need a structured, experienced and energetic.

ERICSSON ABOUT THEIR PRODUCTS:

The MOBILE PACKET GATEWAY is suitable for operators with an installed base of Ericsson GGSNs, and very large numbers of subscribers. The Converged Packet Gateway addresses the new converged broadband segment. It is built on Ericsson's powerful SmartEdge platform and caters for both mobile and fixed broadband traffic.

The Ericsson SSR 8000 family of SMART SERVICES ROUTERS provides operators with a highly scalable, consolidated platform that offers services for both fixed and mobile network infrastructure. It offers services such as IP/MPLS edge routing, and Evolved Packet Gateway functionalities. The Smart Services Router enables complete network convergence so subscribers can access services from any devices or locations.

WE SEEK Senior Project Managers with extensive experience of successfully delivering projects in an international environment, preferably within the telecommunications industry. Apart from the obvious Project management skills, we are looking for a person with customer focus and strong leadership including excellent communication skills.

YOUR BACKGROUND

- PREFERABLY EXPERIENCE FROM SIMILAR PROJECTS - PLEASE MAKE THIS EXPERIENCE VERY CLEAR WHEN APPLYING.
- Experience either from mobile network and system development, IT development, business process development - or a combination of these area
- You hold a PMP, IPMA B or equivalent project management certification
- Experience from agile development projects is an advantage
- At least a Bachelor's degree and work experience from an international environment is a requirement
- Have a minimum of 5 years' experience as a project manager

- A demonstrated ability to align business & commercial strategy with project goals
- Successfully delivered projects that have required technical development, systems integration and business process transformation
- A proven ability to lead others, also across borders, is crucial requiring excellent interpersonal skills with a deep interest for coaching others
- Excellent communication skills towards a large number of stakeholders on all organizational levels
- Confident in managing high risk, business critical projects and have a high degree of self-esteem
- You are passionate about delivering on your commitments - to time, budget & quality
- You understand the importance of a structured project approach and how to optimize the project management tools
- Work fluently in English, both written & verbally
