Senior) Project Manager - Migration

A (Senior) Project Manager is required to make the Infusion project to be a success. Due to the many stakeholders and the complexity of the project a fresh start is required with a new PM showing strong communication and leadership skills.

Next to the standard PM skills, the candidate must have:
- strong leadership skills
- experience with infrastructure projects
- experience with in- or outsourcing of platforms/applications.
- strong communication skills
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- experience with external/third parties
- and show conviction and decisiveness

Background information on the project Infusion:
The goal of the Infustion project is to migrate the Way4 application (Acquiring Back Office) from a Solaris platform to Linux and at the same time from an external provider/data center insourcing back it to the Data Center. The new production environment has been set up. A proof of concept has been done regarding the Operation.
At this moment the database size is a bottleneck given the fact that the time to migrate is approximately 16 hours. There is a lot of focus on housekeeping and improvements have been made to decrease the database size. Full alignment is necessary with the application management team.

The work that needs to be done:
- Finish the OTA and production environment inclusive Disaster Recovery
- Find a solution to migrate. Execute proposed by the supplier: proof of concept or benchmark to migrate the data
- Align and support production to execute housekeeping in a faster way
- Align planning with business and other projects
