Senior Project Manager (Mechanical / Full TurnKey) Lancashire Huxley Associates and one of the UK's leading Engineering Houses with multiple offices throughout the UK are looking to recruit a Senior Project Manager on a permanent basis, owing to significant growth in the Project Portfolio for 2014 - 15. Based out of Lancashire, the Senior Project Manager will be working with the Operations Manager to manage and drive the delivery of critical and high value projects for an expanding client base and will be responsible for leading a given portfolio of projects and work with the Sales Team to develop future opportunities. Taking the project lead for awarded contracts, the Senior Project Manager will be accountable for the successful delivery of projects to cost, quality & agreed timescales and will also be accountable for project controls, change management, progress and finance reporting / forecasting and customer liaison. The Senior Project Manager will be Degree qualified (preferably in Mechanical Engineering) and ideally hold some form of project accreditation (ideally PMP / APMP), as well as having MS Project and/or Primavera experience. In addition, a demonstrable understanding of business accountancy requirements and 5 years+ experience of managing portfolios of projects and/or large projects, plus commercial contract experience is required for this Senior Project Manager role. For the successful Senior Project Manager, a salary up to £52,000 is on offer for the successful Project Manager and this Project Manager role is commutable from Liverpool, Warrington, Preston, Lancaster, Blackburn, Wigan, Bolton, Preston & Manchester.
