Senior Project Manager, Market Risk, Banking (Contract, Zurich)

For our client, an international bank with a global reach, Swisslinx are looking for a highly motivated Project Manager with a strong track record in the banking industry to implement changes for a market risk initiative in Zurich.

This is a 6 month contract in Zurich starting in May 2015.

SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER, MARKET RISK, BANKING (CONTRACT, ZURICH)

- Lead and project manage the overall Market risk workstream for the CRO function interfacing into the central program where required
- Manage the end to end delivery of milestones and progress tracking
- Manage the scope of work and inform and support business colleagues
- Co-ordinate activity across business and IT workstreams
- Escalate critical issues and ensure that resource plans are adhered to in order that deliverables are met to plan
- Good knowledge of Market Risk and traded products

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

- Experience as a project manager in the banking sector or as a management consultant (7+ years)
- In depth knowledge of Market Risk mandatory
- Fluent in English
- Open minded and delivery focused
- Strong communication skills
