Senior Project Manager Mainframe (German)

For our client, a globally operating company with its headquarters in Switzerland, we are looking for aSenior Project Manager Mainframe

You will be responsible for the move of all IBM Mainframe Apps from international locations to the central client site.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Define roadmap, project plan and resource planning for the project
- Develope quality control procedures for reporting
- Lead the project by drawing on your expert knowledge with moves of this scale
- Establish and regularly update an appropriate project structure
- Manage project methodically
- Write and update the regular report on the progress of the project intended for the Steering Committee and Management
- You will also be involved in making strategic improvements and recommendations
- There will most likely be some travel to overseas locations

SKILLS:

- Mainframe experience witih team leadership/management
- Proven experience of managing a project and/or programme on a Senior level
- Expert understanding of project management methodology and tools (PMP certification or equivalent)
- Financial knowhow, ideally Senior Project Manager experience in banking/financial institutions
- Excellenct command of both English and German in a business setting
- Swiss or valid working permit

Working location is in the Zurich, Switzerland vicinity. This project will be handled on a contract basis. This is not a permanent position.
