Senior Project Manager Infrastructure (1995)

For a 6 month project with extension option, with our Banking client based Zurich, we are urgently looking for a SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER INFRASTRUCTURE (1995)

As a Senior Infrastructure Project Manager you will be part of the Technical Business Partner Global Project & Delivery Management. It is part of a global organisation aiming to deliver either complex global or cross organizational infrastructure programs/projects to improve services for internal customers and optimize processes, costs and operations world-wide.

KEY DELIVERABLES:

- Managing IT infrastructure programs/projects according to our client's standard project management methodology.
- Plan project work and manage dependencies, delivering results
- Manage issues, risks and mitigation actions
- Develop and manage stakeholders according to program & project governance
- Manage reporting and sign-offs with senior stakeholders
- Communicate to management, stakeholders, team members, and Subject Matter Experts on different levels

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Degree or higher education in Information technology, business/economics or equivalent
- SEVERAL YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AS IT PROJECT MANAGER in projects involving coordination across multiple teams: preferably in IT INFRASTRUCTURE ENVIRONMENT   PLATFORM ENGINEERING (according to ITIL)
- Experience with LIFECYCLE MANAGEMENT: cleaning up infrastructure roadmap, decommissioning projects in a large scale environment
- STRONG TECHNICAL BACKGROUND in infrastructure based Windows and Linux, virtualised platforms, High Secured Networking (Firewalls, Data Security aspects) etc.
- Experience in Regulated Environments (Banking, Pharma, Chemicals) characterized by rigid and regulated processes in infrastructure area
- EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE IN IMPLEMENTATION AND METHODOLOGIES, MAINLY WATERFALL (Kanban and Scrum experience is welcome)
- Preferably bringing CERTIFICATION ON LEVEL IPMA-B OR PMI-PMP and understanding of change programs in particular
- Fluent in English, German is only a plus.
