Senior Project Manager - Infrastructure

Resource 1 is in need of a PROJECT MANAGER with experience managing multiple TECHNICAL SERVICES/INFRASTRUCTURE RELATED PROJECTS for a 6 month contract in Oak Brook, IL. This is initially for 6 months, but is very likely to get extended well beyond that. Individual will be responsible for overall coordination, status reporting, and monitoring of COMPLEX INFRASTRUCTURE RELATED PROJECTS FROM INITIATION THROUGH DELIVERY. Individual will manage and deliver highly complex Infrastructure Technology projects in accordance with PMO standards. Should understand project goals and objectives, and ensure that projects are setup to achieve these goals. Individual will define and manage the scope, schedule, budget and plan for projects throughout the life cycle. Will also define communications plans and maintain communications throughout the project. Individual will be expected to report and communicate project status to the PM Staff Manager, Portfolio Management team, executives and other project stakeholders. Project Management certification is preferred, but not required for this position.
