PROJECT DETAILS
1.1 TIMELINE
The following timeline will apply for the project:
Project start: January 2015
Project finish: Summer 2016 (phase 1)
1.2 LOCATION
The project manager is expected to be based in Luxembourg
2. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Senior Project Manager is fully responsible for the project delivery including the end to end project management across the organization.
He/she is fully accountable to deliver the project within time, scope, quality and budget to the business sponsor. He/she is expected to lead the project from initiation which may also include various sub projects, of size and complexity. In particular this includes:
Lead and control all stages of the project life cycle from initiation, design, delivery and post implementation, adhering to project methodologies and best practices
Direct the delivery of project/program through active sponsorship, stakeholder management, leadership to ensure they meet scope, time, cost and quality requirements
Effectively manage project and business risks covering the entire program Implement an effective review, reporting and presentation structure
Work closely with program managers within Touchdown who are responsible for delivery of the constituent work streams within the program
Ensure Project Management Standards and Processes are adhered.
Ensure Correct Project Documentation is adhered and maintained to defined Internal Standards and audit requirements.
Ensure correct forecasting and strict budget/cost management of the project
Strong risk management and communication skills are essential.
Responsible for a timely and complete project reporting to the various stakeholders
3. REQUIREMENTS ON THE PROJECT MANAGER
3.1 QUALIFICATION
Project management methods must be known and must have been used in former projects (such as PMI or IPMA). A formal project management certification is of advantage.
Extensive experience with IT Project management and controlling
Very good communication skills, empathy and the ability to work in a team
Good experience with Microsoft Project
At least 8 - 10 years of proven project management experience in a financial services environment
