SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER GLOBAL PAYMENTS PROGRAM (SUBSTREAM PAYMENTS CORE IT RENEWAL)

Job description
Challenging Senior Business Project Manager position with high management attention in an international environment
Responsible for delivery of Payments Core IT Renewal sub stream in close cooperation with the Overall Stream Lead Core System Provisioning
Delivery of expected book of work items based on scope statement/mandate of sub-stream within the agreed time, cost, scope, and quality
Reports to the Stream Lead Core System Provisioning
Ensuring the Sub-stream delivers a fit for purpose product within the agreed time, cost, scope, and quality
Identifies and manages IT-related risks, changes, issues and reprioritization needs

Key deliverables contain:
Creates, maintains and executes IT delivery plan for Core Payment Engine delivery and integration (including detailed estimates, WBS, and IT budget requirements)
Ensure IT-relevant requirements are part of Vendor selection and requirements engineering process
Drive decision process for Vendor selection - including: (i) Selection criteria for Vendor selection; (ii) Contract negotiations with SW vendor - in close collaboration with Efficiency Management
Ensure complete and precise Vendor GAP analysis against vendor standard processes, customization requirements and To-Be business including cost implications and reasoning for required customizations
Successful implementation & configuration of vendor tool on infrastructure
Successful coordination of the integration activities of vendor tool to all surrounding systems - in close collaboration with other integration sub-streams
Successful decommissioning of Legacy applications

Skill description
Bachelor or Master degree with an additional project management certificate
Excellent project management skills in combination with standard package delivery/integration
At least 4 - 6 years' work experience in project management in a financial services environment
Proven track record of successful delivery of complex projects with IT implementation features
Good understanding of banking operations systems and processes (background in private banking or investment banking - in particular the payments area would be an asset)
Excellent written and interpersonal skills and ability to work and communicate effectively with various internal business and internal/external IT partners across different seniority levels
Capability to interpret and compile information in order to provide stakeholders and management with adequate information
Pro-active approach, strong planning and estimation capabilities
Fluent in English and German (spoken and written)
