Senior Project Manager - Electronic Archiving (Pharma)

For a major Pharma client in Basel, Harvey Nash is urgently looking for a Senior Project Manager - electronic Archiving Technologies (Pharma) for a contracting role from May 2013 till May 2014.

Mandatory skills and background are:
- Experience with implementing electronic archiving technologies: file archiving, database archiving
- Pharma experience: GxP, system validation
- Global, cross-functional experience in an enterprise environment
- strong Project Leader skills and proven track record of successful projects
- Fluent English (any other language is a plus)

Your Main Tasks:

- Analyse and distil the initial project ideas. Assess project ideas in terms of implementation, ROI, risk and success factors in co-ordination with the portfolio manager
- Create of project plans with goals, resources, milestones, costs, spend, approach, project structure, risk management within the project organization. Distribute the project contracts in collaboration and approval of the project sponsor
- Establish the project relevant Quality Management procedures and implement them. Ensure that the quality of the project output and their acceptance and approval is performed to plan
- Apply controlling mechanisms to influence the behaviour of the project team and the external suppliers
- Report in line with the project plan and implement necessary corrective actions. Ensure that corrective actions are effective
- Create the project completion report (time, cost, functionality, teamwork, achievement of goals, use of the product/service) and documentation of the learnings/experiences from the project team's view.
