Senior Project Manager - Edmonton

The project manager will be responsible to manage the scope of work as described below:

Scope of Work:
Project Management of various projects within the infrastructure and applications environment. The size and complexity of the projects will vary.
Management of Internal resources and Vendor management to ensure an external provider delivers the upgrade or installation. All aspects of project management will be required, including resource management, administration of financials, planning, workshop facilitation, issue resolution and escalation, etc.

The Project Manager is responsible for directing and coordinating multiple teams to manage and implement the project(s) from initiation to final operational stage.

- Charter, Plans, schedules, monitors and reports on deliverables and activities related to the project
- Leads the project team(s) in determining customer requirements and translating requirements into requirements documents and technical designs.
- Manage project costs, budgets, staffing requirements, project resources and project risk
- Create and implement contingency plans to address risks and mitigation schedule revision, manpower adjustments, fund allocation and work requirements
- Controls project requirements, scope and change management issues
- Weekly and monthly status reporting.
- Chairs weekly status meetings and monthly steering committee meetings.
- Manages team leads and coaches members of cross-functional teams to accomplish project deliverables, meets established schedules or resolve technical/operational issues.
