Senior Project manager - CORK Contract.
My client a global multinational is in urgent need of a talented and experienced project manager to join them on a contract basis of 6-12 months.
You will be required to Provide project/program management support for CMSB OPS Infrastructure builds and application migration/deployment projects. Plan, direct and coordinate activities and resources across multiple disciplines to ensure that project goals and objectives are accomplished on time, within budget and meet business objectives while ensuring customer satisfaction. You will also manage projects with a dynamic team of individuals that develops and implements technology requirements to meet business needs. A strong technical background is required including previous experience in IT Infrastructure builds and application migration management.
Successful candidates will have between 7 to 9 years of technical project management experience in IT operations environment. You will have Migrations experience of large environments both domestic & globally. You will also have Solid project management and understanding of PMI methodologies processes with ability to manage multiple large projects in a cross-functional environment. PMP certification is seen as a plus. Release Management experience is also seen as a plus. It will be expected that you have Extensive experience with MS Project and MS Project Server for scheduling and tracking. Excellent verbal and written communication skills will be expected.
