Senior Project Manager - Contract - Hague

IDPP is currently seeking a senior project manager to join an intellectual property company during a pivotal time of transition. The ongoing project is focused on the launch of a new Back Office environment within an existing IT landscape, as the Legacy environment is phased out. This is an ideal opportunity for a senior project manager with a background and understanding of software development to showcase skills and experience of adaptation, deliver and implementation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Create and implement the project plan
- Lead the development process including the application development, migration, integration and organisation of DTAP
- Provide input and feedback in line with organisational transition guidelines
- Communicate project progress to all stakeholders
- Set up the project and manage the project teams
- Support the project budget control and management
- Establish QA and proactive risk and issue management
- Implementation and hand over the delivered product to the existing organisation, including the acceptance, necessary training, maintenance, management and evaluation

PERSONAL & PROFESSIONAL QUALITIES:

- A minimum of a bachelor's degree, preferably in business or computer science
- Extensive experience as a project manager in similar projects
- Certified project manager (Pricne2 practitioner, IPMAB)
- Thorough knowledge and experience with software development processes (Scrum, Agile, XP), migrations and integrations, including testing, QA and management
- Knowledge of application development in mixed environments (IBM, DB2, BPMN)
- Knowledge and experience of business transformation process and associated change management
- Good commination skills, tact and persuasiveness, both at team level and the steering committee
- Fluent in Dutch, good command of English, French is a bonus but not essential
- Solution orientated and pragmatic
- Able to work under pressure
