SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER/BUSINESS ANALYST (CREDIT RISK DERIVATIVES)

On behalf of our client, a leading bank in Zürich, we are looking for a SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER/BUSINESS ANALYST WITH EXTENSIVE CREDIT RISK DERIVATIVES EXPERIENCE. For this contract position based in Zurich in Switzerland our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible. DESCRIPTION:

- The successful candidate would work on the Private Bank's global system that monitors all trading exposures. This system captures all traded products from Front Office which is then routed to an application and then calculates the risk of the derivatives.

ROLE:

- Leading project, stakeholder management, adherence to scope, budget and schedule
- Manage interfaces to the various stakeholders (Credit Officer, Credit Analytics, Front Organization, Trading, Audit and other) with exposure to Senior Management
- Independent supervision of projects throughout the range of the area of Credit Risk Management, such as Methodology, Monitoring and Reporting
- Responsibility for the end-to-end delivery from a Business/Change perspective and in partnership with IT
- Recording, analysis, definition, prioritization and testing of new business requirements
- Conducting deep dive analyses, gap analyses and proposing responses
- Development and execution of user training and stakeholder communication
- Lead the strategic IT discussion, develop the business case and story line

SKILLS:

- Experience in project management and IT implementations from a Business/Change perspective
- Background in the lending business/derivatives trading of a financial services company
- KNOWLEDGE ABOUT CREDIT RISK MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION, PROCESSES AND/OR IT LANDSCAPE AT A SWISS BANK
- Effective stakeholder management, experience in facing senior business stakeholders
- Strong relationship building and consultation skills as well as ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with peers, management, project team, key stakeholders and clients
- Ability to engage with quantitative experts and flair for risk methodologies and models
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills, technical flair
- Experienced user of MS Office toolset, especially Powerpoint
- Self-motivated and proven ability to work with little supervision
- Fluent in English, ideally fluent in German
- Good knowledge of regulatory landscape around derivatives
