For our international client based in Basel, Experis is currently looking for a Senior Project Manager to start on a new project. The project will focus around deployment activities and therefore requires that the candidate is experienced in Project Management within a pharmaceutical environment.

Project background:
The Project Manager we are looking for on behalf of the Basel site project, is to:
* Assess the current status of plans, activities and deliverables that are within the scope of responsibility and accountability of the Site Deployment Lead role for Basel: drive migration deployment project, and to identify and close gaps
* Include the scope of the additional roles, which are Site OCM Expert and Site Training Expert
* Ensure that adequate governance is in place.

General Information:
* Start date: ASAP (latest start date: 12.06.2017)
* End date: 31.10.2017
* Work location: Basel (later maybe Kaiseraugst due to the move of IT)
* Work load: 100%

Scope:
The Site Deployment Lead is accountable/responsible for all site-specific deployment activities:
* Plan, lead, monitor deployment activities on site level, including
o stakeholder management
o OCM activities (with Site IT OCM Expert)
o Training activities (with Site Training Expert)
o establish site migration readiness (signs-off site migration readiness checklist)
o accountable for hypercare activities
* Ensure Service Desk capacity/capabilities adapted to expected demand prior to migration start
* Align site deployment planning with site RMC and Legal department
* For lift-and-shift: Work with global migration team and Regional Deployment Lead to plan the migration in the site (schedule, batches)
* Align with Function Deployment Leads (if/as required) to ensure alignment between function-specific OCM activities and site-specific deployment communications/activities
* Serve as single-point-of-contact for site-level deployment activities
* Escalation point for local stakeholders and other site deployment roles

The Site OCM Expert is accountable/responsible for all communications activities on site level, in coordination with Site Deployment Lead, Function OCM (if applicable):
* engage the business at site level, aligning communications, ensure management and line managers buy-in, as required depending on the site size and organization
* collaborate with the site deployment lead to adapt the generic communications plan to create site communications plan
* adapt communications templates and materials based on the site deployment plan
* support the site deployment lead with executing communications activities, ie sending employee communications emails, organising site marketing via available channels (ie posters, Channel One, G+ communities, site IT newsletters, site Intranet)
* coordinate migration communications with other communications initiatives (GoogleNext, COREMAP)
* support the site deployment lead with stakeholder management communications as needed

The Site Training Lead is accountable to ensure that all end-users in the site are trained on g-drive prior to their migration date.

This is done by following this process:
* Estimating the size of the audience to be trained (some people may already be trained)
* Plan the Training Delivery
* Nominate Site Training Expert(s) to deliver the training (if a training is needed)
* Drive the Training Delivery
* Track the training statuses of employees
* Reports to the Site Deployment Lead for the planning and tracking activities

You bring for this role the following qualifications:

* + 8 years of experience as Project Manager with profound experience in large scale deployment initiatives
* Profound experience with OCM
* Senior stakeholder management experience
