Senior Project Manager

Our client is an international Tier1 Financial Services firm located in Zurich.

For a global implementation of a financial accounting system in the Investment Accounting & Administration department we're looking for a contractor/consultant acting as Senior Project Manager covering a wide range of topics working on the end to end project life cycle. The overall programme is split into 3 sub projects, 1 of them having a focus on the regulatory side (EMIR) and the other 2 will be around real estate Front Office tools.

The candidate should have vast experience in realising complex projects and should hold a PMP or similar certification.

Requirements

- Sound educational background
- Previous work experience in a similar role in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance or Management Consulting
- A wealth of experience in Project Management
- Regulatory knowledge in the area of EMIR and/or knowledge of Front Office tools for real estate (depending on skill set candidate can be deployed in either a regulatory or real estate sub-project)
- Certification required (PMP or similar)
- Track record of several complex system implementations
- Good finance and financial accounting knowledge
- Good technical understanding and knowledge of technology processes
- SAP FSCM knowledge is an asset
- Very good senior stakeholder management skills
- Willing to travel occasionally
- Proactive, resilient and reliable personality
- Fluency in English (written & spoken), German is an asset

This is an exciting contract opportunity for an experiences individual!

Due to logistical reasons priority will be given to candidates already based in Switzerland (assuming satisfactory skill set).

Start Date is ASAP OR ON AGREEMENT.

The assignment duration is planned for 6 - 9 MONTHS.
