Senior Project Manager

Our team is currently looking for a Senior Project Manager based in Sydney.

The Role:

- The Senior Project Manager should have experience in managing DIGITAL MOBILE APPLICATION PROJECTS.
- The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the delivery of projects and accountable for the leadership, management and delivery of projects to support the realisation of the company business plan.
- The Senior Project Manager assists the business to engage with the Change Management and Project Management processes.
- This includes supporting the development of a concept and it's business case.
- In partnership with the business, the Senior Project Manager contributes to the development of the end-to-end Change Management process that governs project initiation, classification and approval. Working with the Project Management group, the senior project manager is responsible for providing input to project delivery methodology, ensuring an appropriate level of project governance in line with business environment and need.
- The senior project Manager will generally be in charge of larger project with greater AOP importance and impact.
- The Senior Project Manager is responsible for providing support and guidance to other Project Managers.
- The Senior Project Manager may be required to provide guidance to a number of contract project managers that fall under an allocated program.
- It is imperative the Senior Project Manager has strong communication and influencing skills and has a proven track record of successfully delivering projects in a Matrix environment.

Skills/Requirements

- Project Management of multiple projects at various phases of the project life cycle
- Assistance to the Manager, Portfolio and Resourcing in planning and executing the organisation annual program of work
- Input into the development and promotion of Project Management processes
- Support & guidance to other Project Managers
- Guidance to contract staff as required
- Vendor Management as required to ensure on time delivery
