Senior Project Manager

SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER
Due to the workload and amount of projects on site, our pharmaceutical client require a senior project manager.

Department/team:
This position is located within Global Engineering Services. This department supports the organisation by providing guidance/support and control on all relevant capital investments.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Responsible for management, execution and realisation of strategically large projects.
- Main focus: Scope, budget and planning.
- Projects are designed under the responsibility of the project design manager. The senior project manager is responsible for the delivery from concept to completion and hand over.
- Collaborate with contractors, suppliers and other team members in the execution of the work.
- Evaluate performance on a regular basis.
- Knowledge of principles, methods or tools for developing, scheduling, coordinating and managing projects and resources.
- Monitor and inspect costs, work, and contractor performance in cooperation with the Area Director.
- Knowledge of principles and methods to identify, analyse, specify, design, and manage facilities. This includes translating functional requirements into technical requirements used for design and/or presenting alternative technologies or approaches.
- This position is reporting to a Project director overseeing a broad portfolio of projects.

REQUIREMENTS:

- MSc in a relevant Engineering discipline.
- Proven experience of engineering/project management, project engineering for larger and/or complex (capital) investment projects within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong GMP knowledge.
- Excellent analytical skills and a solid understanding of engineering fundamentals.
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
- Ability to act as facilitator and chairman in international meetings.
- Fluent English skills.
