Senior Project Manager

Leading Insurance organisation is currently in the midst of several large technology programs to improve the way they interact with their customers. They are currently in need of a strong SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER to deliver an infrastructure project.

As the Senior Project Manager, your role will be to lead and manage the successful delivery of large and complex Infrastructure Projects

THE RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

- Project Schedules, covering cost, time and resource requirements
- Active management of project delivery, updating schedule and resource requirements as required
- Completion of project documentation including status reports and steering committee packs
- Actively identify project risks provide mitigation strategies
- Lead operational teams to deliver agreed outcomes/targets
- Provide technical and Project Management guidance to customers and internal teams
- Resolves complex issues to guide operational teams/project team to resolve problems to deliver to agreed schedule/cost

HAVE THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE:

- 8+ years Infrastructure Project Manager experience, leading multiple Infrastructure teams
- 7+ years experience managing multiple projects in complex, Matrix environment
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience
- PMI/PMP/PRINCE2 qualifications, other project management qualifications
- Management of project budgets > $5M
- SDLC (System Development Life Cycle)/ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) experience across infrastructure and application development projects
- Wide ranging infrastructure project experience (for example Integration, Middleware, SAP, Database, Security, Midrange, Mainframe)
- Implementation of Virtualisation/Cloud based projects and services (PaaS/iPaaS)
- Excellent interpersonal skills; communication, time management and organisational
