Senior Project Manager

A global pharmaceutical organisation requires a Senior Project Manager to support a large capital investment in Ireland. The role will be to support the Program Director with finalising concept design, completing preliminary design; and initiating detailed design/construction activities.

Job Description:

Primary Client Representative.
Project Management: To manage the activities relating to finalising concept design, completing preliminary design and initiating detailed design/construction activities.
Quality/Compliance: To ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with all relevant internal policies and external regulations/national legal requirements, including completion of all commitments to plan; specifically relating to the accuracy of project documentation.
People Management: To operate in a Matrix organisation, driving the local team and contract companies to ensure that the project is delivered.
Continuous Improvement: To explore and identify new and improved processes targeted at improvement in quality and operational performance.

Minimum Requirements:

Engineering Degree required (Chemical, Process, and Mechanical etc)
Experience project management of projects within Oral Solid Dosage or API facilities
Extensive CAPEX experience within a GMP/FDA regulated environment
Ideally, previous technical transfer project experience
Languages: English, essential
Ability to analyse complex schedules and interrelated activities and establish correct priorities.
Ability to manage 3-4 individual projects with overlapping schedules and priorities.
Able to forge good relationships with project members in a Matrix organisation, where the project manager does not have line management responsibilities
The job-holder must be a highly self-motivated and energised individual with strong drive and reputation for on time delivery, able to present complex material in a succinct manner appropriate to support prompt decision making
