FIXED TERM POST UNTIL 31 JULY 2015

The International Development Office is looking for a senior project manager to support The Open University teacher education projects in sub-Saharan Africa.

You will have proven and extensive project management experience. You will manage the teacher education capacity building projects providing input, support and expertise to the different workstreams in the UK and sub-Saharan Africa. You will provide integrative leadership and strategic advice and proactively lead on the timely delivery of the projects within scope and to budget.

You will be educated to degree standard (or equivalent) with a formal project management qualification. You will be a strong team player with the ability to steer teams and groups towards top performance. To be successful you will need experience of assuming personal responsibility for meeting multiple stakeholder needs across cultures, regions and teams.
