Senior Project Manager

Link Technologies is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager for a position in Las Vegas, NV.  The ideal candidate will have demonstrated ability to deliver a multi-million dollar project around permitting and/or licensing. This should include experience assisting with the vendor selection process, assisting with developing a scope work for professional services, providing input on contract negotiations, acting as project manager for the planning phase, testing phase, implementation phase and closing/post implementation phase of the project.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Adhere to established project management and systems development methodologies to effectively and efficiently manage IT, vendor and business resources in the development and deployment of information systems to meet customer needs.
- Provide direction, information and leadership for internal customers, professional and technical staff, and vendors in the evaluation of vendor responses to a Request for Proposal (RFP), and help facilitate a selection.
- Analyzes conversion requirements, identifies opportunities to consolidate data from 2 systems, consolidates the meaning of similar data elements from 2 systems, and ensures data is converted according to design.
- Develops and implements goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and work standards in compliance with client's Information Technology policies, procedures, and standards.
- Ensures that quality assurance, security, disaster recovery, and co-location elements are incorporated into and addressed by the project. 
- Interacts with other Division Managers of the department to ensure smooth and efficient customer service delivery of all project products and services. 
- May be required to drive a personal motor vehicle in the course of the work. 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:

- Expert knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel, Visio, Project, Word and project management or business analysis tools required.
- Experience with Business Analysis, Project Management and Personnel Management methodologies and techniques.
- Knowledge of land development, licensing, permitting, inspections and code enforcement. 
- Knowledge of project planning and scheduling procedures; basic accounting, statistical, business administration and office procedures required.
