Projektbeschreibung

Lead a team which is responsible for the management of all global development activities for the new Global POS platform and its related products. In addition to overall product ownership of the platform, key global activities include Release Management, Incident/Defect Management, and Requirements Management. This position is also responsible for ensuring there is a solid test strategy for the products, and the coordination of global governance groups, support assistance, managing software suppliers, and assisting markets with deployment.

PRODUCT MANAGEMENT
Establish and maintain relationships with partners, internal IT teams and development partners
Facilitation of Product Governance activities
Regular communications with cross-functional, virtual team including members of IT, Solutions Group, and market partners, third party development suppliers
Coordinate with other product teams to ensure alignment on cross functional feature development
Report on detailed information regarding the state of the features for his/her products
Ensure all appropriate technical and user documentation is created, distributed, and maintained

RELEASE MANAGEMENT
Creation of Release Strategy, Release Plan, Project Plan, and Risk Mitigation Strategies for software applications
Facilitation or Release Governance activities
Maintain master list of features for various software releases
Manage database of features in all phases of the SDLC
Create customized reports based on data provided by various teams via emails, phone calls, meetings and updates within Change Management system
Challenge unreasonable estimates and provide alternatives for Supplier engagement
Maintain alignment with Infrastructure Governance teams as it relates to minimum product specifications

ISSUE MANAGEMENT
Define and monitor the support process, facilitate the resolution of support issues, and when necessary, actively participate in the resolution of software defects/issues

REQUIREMENTS MANAGEMENT
Manage SDLC process for development priorities from Requirements through Delivery
Elicits Functional Requirements and facilitates alignment/approval from Operations stakeholders on requirements
Reviews, provides feedback and facilitates process to ensure alignment/approval on Technical Designs
Provide business analysis support for complex software applications, including analysing and documenting business processes and translating user requirements to software development teams
Consulting on the design of new functionality
In an advisory capacity, plan and assist with the execution of testing to ensure implemented technology meets business requirements
Identify requirements for testing, reviews test plans, test scripts and test cases to ensure QA teams are effectively testing new features
Facilitate appropriate feature overview documentation and related workshops.

SKILLS:
The ideal candidate has a proven track record of delivering on solutions, project planning, organization skills, and communication expertise complimented by a strong technology background. Must have experience doing release management in a waterfall development environment, that is not highly structured. Experience dealing with governance bodies and offshore developers is a plus.
