My client has a requirement for a Senior Project Engineer to work with them on their manufacturing facilities in Hertfordshire, on large capital projects. You will be responsible for the planning, design, engineering, supervision and coordination of projects.

You will be significantly involves with automated machinery and production line engineering, so knowledge of automation is ideal.

The successful Senior Project Engineer should:-
- Have significant engineering experience and understanding working on large projects. You may come from a manufacturing/chemical/petrochemical background. You should have experience of all aspects of the project life cycle from planning through to coordination.
- Have a high level of technical expertise
- Good project management skills
- Be able to work to budget, time and customer requirements as well as to all relevant health and safety standards. This is a busy and fast moving environment so you'll need to be able to manage your time.
- Ideally hold a degree or equivalent in mechanical/chemical engineering/related discipline

This is a great opportunity to work on some exciting and fast moving projects, which should last up to 18 months. You'll need to jump in and hit the ground running, with good communication and IT skills.
