SENIOR PROJECT COORDINATOR

DURATION: 9-month contract (W2)

LOCATION: Oakland, CA 94612

CLIENT: One of the country's largest health care and health plan providers

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Provides technical and administrative support to project manager(s)
- Formats documentation, including creation of templates and Shell files
- Creations Adobe files and CDs as necessary
- Uses variety of software tools sufficiently to support all aspects of the project
- Responsible for final assembly and quality of printed materials
- Assists with logistics for arranging off-site and department meetings
- Assists in maintenance of libraries, databases and graphic management logs
- Assists with development of general graphic designs to enhance technical documents

TOP DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Support of multiple project managers
- Listening to meetings and taking minutes
- Coordinating meetings
- Updating project plans
- Helping the PMO director with other items as assigned
- Helping with Work Flows
- Updating RAID logs, Sharepoint sites, etc

QUALIFICATIONS:

- BA or BS preferred
- Minimum 6+ years of direct relevant experience
- Expert knowledge of MS Word, Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
- Ability to resolve problems without delay and/or to seek managerial intervention and operate under stressful, time-sensitive deadlines

WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR IS a senior project coordinator who can do anything from meeting set up to consolidating project plans. I need a go-getter who can support multiple project managers for a variety of needs. This person could also run some individual work streams within a project, but only when ready to do so.
