Senior Project Coordinator - 6 Month FTC

We have an exceptional opportunity for a highly credible Senior Project Coordinator to join us in playing an important role supporting the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple or large scale projects. You will also be monitoring the process by which backhaul upgrades are performed in the group and highlight issues concerning backlogged work or slow work and bottlenecks in the team.

Part of your role will be to produce regular KPI reports and status/progress reports based on measurements of the date and time work was received, processed and finally passed on.

You must be confident in your ability to communicate project plans and support the project team day to day. The responsibility for generating overall scorecard data for the whole department will lie with you and you will then present this weekly as part of the review meeting. You will be vigilant and play a crucial role in identifying, managing and mitigating potential issues in the workflow and be proactive before they can escalate. If escalations occur, you will manage and track them, across departments and involve suppliers where necessary.

You will drive the delivery of key milestones and work conscientiously to resolve issues, risks and dependencies that may affect the process; identify issues, seek out relevant important information, diagnose and analyse problems and work to resolve them swiftly, and then implement steps to prevent recurrence.

To ensure success in this fantastic role, we ask that you have a recognised project management certificate or service management certificate, experience working with process design, development, analysis and improvement experience, and that you have experience with development and production of KPI reports alongside functional knowledge of statistical analysis and measurement.

Exposure to the telecoms industry in a similar capacity would be of great benefit, especially in a public service provider organisation. We ask that you can demonstrate the ability to manage multiple large scale projects through standard processes as well as a good understanding of at least one area of transmission, broadband, IP and voice.
