Main responsibilities

- Carries out project control and financial accounting services in accordance with relevant Company's guidelines, processes, procedures and systems for defined projects.
- Provide project cost structure (WBS), work packages, project cost ledger, SAP reconciliation, invoice pre-check and administration
- Provide cost, schedule and progress control and monitor & reconcile variances to the control budgets for time and cost
- Using the Company's Change Order Management process, incorporate changes to the scope, schedule and cost control systems and to the reporting
- Update and monitor risk register and change order log
- Support the preparation of cost estimates and produce accurate and unbiased cost forecasts at a detailed and summary level for the final cost
- Identify early warning of adverse cost, schedule, quality trends and ensure that corrective actions are taken by performing what-if -analysis
- Support Project Managers in the production of project reports (monthly, quarterly and at project completion)
- Support the interface between project and Company's local and global policies and guidelines (eg procurement, accounting, documentations policies)
- Manage the interfaces between the Project Financial Accountant and the project team/contractors
- Establish and monitor the critical path in the project master and update subproject schedules if necessary
- Monitor the contractors' project controls techniques to ensure that tools are capable of meeting Company's requirements and are properly implemented as outlined in the job specifications and execution procedures

Your Tasks

- Accountable to execute the project controls and financial accounting process as defined.
- Manage the interface for project controls activities to all required departments (eg Engineering, Finance, Procurement) and to the Architect/Engineers and Construction Contractors
- Coordinate, lead/supervise and monitor the project controls activities of contractors and other involved parties
- Responsible to constructively challenge project managers regarding cost, schedule and quality
- Fluent English and German
