Senior Project Controls Cost Engineer

SUMMARY:

- The successful candidates will be responsible for the development and management of project schedules, capital expenditure, and reporting.

EXPERIENCE:

Candidates are required to have experience in the following areas:

- Creation of Work Breakdown Structures.
- Implementation of project control procedures.
- Detailed cost and schedule reporting.
- Contract development.
- Development and management of change order processes.
- Development of CPM project schedules.
- Cost and schedule baseline management.
- Cost and resource loaded schedules.
- Develop milestone reporting schedules.
- Undertake monthly progress updates.
- Validate progress on sub-contractors schedules
- Forecast future resource requirements
- Earned Value Reporting
- Estimate development
- Cost tracking and trend analysis
- Invoice validation
- Accrual calculations
- Support internal Audits
- Conform to document control processes and procedures.

EDUCATION:

- BA/BS in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related Engineering Field or equivalent industry experience.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

- Heavy industry, infrastructure and energy sectors
- Six (6) - Ten (10) years project cost and schedule management experience
- Experience managing Project Controls team
- Working knowledge of Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
- Thoroughly understands and utilizes Information Technology in the performance of their work including Adobe Acrobat,

Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.
