SENIOR PROJECT LEAD/BUSINESS ANALYST WITH REGULATORY REPORTING
On behalf of our client, a leading global company, we are looking for a SENIOR PROJECT LEAD/BUSINESS ANALYST WITH EXTENSIVE REGULATORY REPORTING EXPERIENCE. The objective is to deliver a strategic reporting solution which needs to be established and sourced from upstream systems. For this contract position based in Zürich in Switzerland our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analysis and gathering of requirements from a reporting and sourcing perspective
- Liaise with the upstream data provider to ensure additional requirements are reflected accordingly
- Drive change with SMEs and IT contacts and coordinate project delivery to ensure that the needs of business stakeholders are met.
- Drive overall work stream delivery to ensure that all requirements are addressed
- Working jointly with IT and business organizations to implement effective business solutions.
SKILLS:
- Appropriate business education within the regulatory reporting subject
- Strong business acumen and ability to quickly understand regulatory requirements and business strategy
- Several years of experience in the regulatory reporting environment.
- Experience driving change on large scale programs
- Experience building a solution from scratch
- Technical knowledge including SQL and experience of regulatory reporting tools.
- 10 years of experience in project management and at least 5 years of experience as Project Lead in the banking arena
- Excellent spoken and written English
Desired:
- BCBS or Basel III experience is highly beneficially
- Strong relationship building and consultation skills as well as an ability to ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with peers, management, key stakeholders and clients.
- German language knowledge will be a benefit
