Senior Project Accountant

To provide timely, accurate and meaningful management and project accounting and ad-hoc information to the Project Managers and Group Managers within the ICS Business Line.
To support Finance and Project Managers in meeting their financial obligations.
Ensure month end reporting deadlines are met for financial and project reporting.
To play a key role within the ICS finance team ensuring correct and agreed accounting procedures are followed for all projects within their responsibility.
Production of key reporting, whilst also ensuring SAP accurately reflects baseline budgets, actual and forecast costs on contracts
Attendance at variance contract reviews throughout the month
To ensure invoicing schedules are up-to-date and invoices are raised as per contract to maximise cash benefits.

Essential Skills:
Previous Project Accountancy experience.
Finalist or newly qualified CIMA or ACCA
Good MS Excel skills
Understanding of principles of accounting for a large construction project

Desirable Skills:
SAP knowledge and experience (highly desirable)
Primavera knowledge
