This is a 6-month contract opportunity. Overview
Our Client is seeking a Senior Programmer/Developer to develop E-commerce web applications and services in a C#, ASP.NET, XML, and SQL/Oracle Database development environment. Role and Responsibilities
Our Client's objective is to align the existing technology to new corporate standards for external facing applications and to provision enhancements for increased sustainability and usability for customers. This will be done using a phased release approach.
Responsibilities include:
- Reporting to the IT Project Lead
- Capturing progress status and reporting back to IT Project Lead and project team
- Interacting with the various IT Groups and Business Groups
- Translate business and systems design specifications into code solutions
- Develop web based code as per specifications following our Client's IT Standards, Procedures, and Best Practices
- Deploy completed code to the appropriate environments; developer, development, test, and production
- Create technical project documentation.
Project Deliverables include:
- Weekly Project Status Reports
- Software Development health checks
- Project modules loaded into the appropriate server environments
- Deliverables documented for knowledge transfer to IT - Application Support.
Qualifications
Required Skills
- Proven experience developing applications using C#.NET framework (> 5 years)
- Proven experience developing and implementing E-commerce web applications, services, and integrations in a C#, ASP.NET, CSS, HTML/XHTML, XML/XSLT, JavaScript, (> 5 years)
- Proven experience with SQL databases, stored procedures, and views using T-SQL and SQL Reporting Manager ( > 3 years )
- Proven experience in the following technologies ( > 3 years):
- Microsoft/Ascentium Commerce Server 2009
- Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0/2011
- CRM Plug-in development
- SharePoint 2007/2010
- Visual Studio 2008/2010
- Team Foundation Server - Ability to work in a team environment while working independently.
Desired Skills:
- Experience and/or knowledgeable in one or more of the following technologies:
- GIS
- Silverlight
- ArcGIS
- FME
- MAC
- Mobile
- Identity Management
- Microsoft Patterns and Practices
