Annual Salary - £35,500 - £55,000

Full Time - 37 Hours Per Week

12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Based in Chelmsford County Hall

Essex County Council is undergoing the largest transformation programme of its kind in the UK and technology is recognised as being strategically critical to this innovative and radical transformation. Information Services is at the forefront of delivering this technological change.

The IS Programme Management function supports this technological transformation by working closely with all stakeholders to deliver project outcomes and benefits in line with ECC strategy.

The IS Programme/Senior Project Manager applies specialist programme and project management skills and experience and takes responsibility for the full range of programme and project management activities within the IS Programme Management function.

The postholder manages complex projects and/or coordinates programmes of projects, providing support and guidance to project managers and integrating project delivery with associated functions. They will promote an outcome-focused performance culture within IS, with partners and in stakeholder relationships.

Any successful applicant to this post would be appointed on a fixed term contract.
