SENIOR PROGRAM/PROJECT METHODOLOGY SPECIALIST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Walnut Creek, CA or Glendale, AZ

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Senior Program/Project Methodology Specialist to advance and maintain effective program/project delivery methodologies, standards, processes, and best practices in support of maximizing the quality and efficiency of program/project delivery. This includes evaluating the suitability of existing processes, assessing the value proposition for change, defining requirements, and facilitating development and deployment.
- Involvement with related and adjacent practice areas such as Enterprise Architecture, IT Governance and Organizational Change Management will also be required.
- Partner with PMPEO team members as well as key stakeholders (eg internal audit, compliance, IT) to design, update/maintain and implement effective program/project management methodologies by reviewing and understanding agreed to objectives; design required controls and develop methodology components such as templates, processes, tools, standards and other materials.
- Support the work of PMPEO team members by reviewing work product or assisting in development of work product and providing input as required.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's degree in business, information systems or related disciplines. Master's or MBA preferred.
- Eight (8) plus years related experience with program/project management principles and methodologies obtained by leading/supporting complex projects.
- FIVE (5) PLUS YEARS RELATED PROGRAM/PROJECT DELIVERY EXPERIENCE, PREFERABLY IN A LARGE ORGANIZATION.
- Must demonstrate extensive expertise with both agile and waterfall project delivery as well as experience with other project methodology frameworks.
- Excellent facilitation and presentation skills. Ability to tailor presentation materials to all audiences regardless of expertise or job level.
- Cultural adaptability. Virtual and remote team management ability. Independent and innovative spirit. Flexible and responsive to input.
- Familiarity with project management software (eg Microsoft Project).
- WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF MICROSOFT VISIO AND/OR IBM BLUEWORKS LIVE.
- Industry project management credentials (eg PMP) are desirable.
- TRAVEL OF UP TO 15% MAY BE REQUIRED.
