WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

The Program Manager will have responsibilities to work closely with the Vice President of Learner Experience and Impact for purposes of project managing strategic programs and initiatives. This will include overall project management of those initiatives. The ideal candidate for this role will be experienced in the areas of process decomposition and optimization, resource modelling and optimization and status reporting. This person will report up through the Vice President of Learner Experience and Impact.

- Define concepts, scope, costs, and manage timelines to execute global projects.
- Project manage multiple project tracks to accomplish specific objectives for learning projects
- Develop master and supporting project plans
- Develop charters
- Responsible for managing the delivery of milestones and successful completion of project plans
- Work in collaboration to define and drive change management and enablement plans
- Define and document risks, escalation, and document mitigation plans
- Coordinates and prioritizes of resources across projects, manages links between the projects and the overall costs and risks of learning projects
- Prepares progress communications against milestones and deliverables for learning leaders to communicate to a broad audience including executive stakeholders and tactical owners.
- Manages across departments and locations to achieve client satisfaction and company vision
- Understands business constraints and determines the processes required to achieve results
- Holds project meetings to discuss operational actions, enhancements, and issues
- Interact with multiple departments to gather business requirements, track open items, and ensure timely delivery

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's Degree and eight to ten (8-10) years experience in program/project management
- Substantial work experience in client facing consulting leadership and delivery strategy
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or program management certification preferred
- Understanding of both Waterfall and Agile software design methodologies
- Experience with process improvement/standardization
- Excellent problem-solving skills, including the research and development of alternatives
- Ability to summarize complex ideas clearly and succinctly to recipients at multiple levels within multiple organizations
- Able to direct specific tasks through prescribed processes, as well as identify, document, and implement improvements
- Strong influence skills - ability to influence and build partnerships at all levels
- Strong interpersonal communication skills (oral and written); ability to build strong, positive relationships with stakeholders, partners, and colleagues
- Connected and successful professional that is able to skillfully navigate the nuanced and complex corporate environment
- Ability to effectively create and manage efficient processes
- Ability to successfully work in an international and virtual team
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally
- Natural team player with strong customer focus
