Senior Program Manager, Finance/IT Transaction Accounting/Basel III

Our client, a niche consulting business requires a highly experienced US Transactional Accounting Programme Manager for a specific investment banking/capital markets client engagement. The Programme Manager would be expected to lead the cross-asset transaction accounting sub-ledger implementation in New York, reporting into the Global Head. Working within Technology (Highly Financed focussed)  the role requires a deep understanding of Investment banking Finance IT Architectures (Cross-asset transactions, sub-ledger accounting systems) and risk (Basel III, CCAR, etc) with a proven track record of delivery. The role requires significant stakeholder management responsibilities within both finance and risk, team leadership and management, technology delivery responsibility as well as responsibility for planning, risk assessment, issue management, hiring and programme co-ordination. The ideal individual would be currently working within a top consulting company or top tier investment bank implementing Finance/IT sub ledger systems with a strong accounting background.
