Senior Production Support Specialist

I am actively recruiting for a SENIOR PRODUCTION SUPPORT SPECIALIST for a Global Investment Bank (ALGO v5/v4, Oracle, SQL, JIRA) - London Based.

CONTRACT POSITION - PAYING UP TO £550 PER DAY - 6 MONTH INITIAL PLACEMENT WITH POSSIBLE RENEWAL

AS A SENIOR PRODUCTION SUPPORT SPECIALIST (ALGO V5/V4, ORACLE, SQL, JIRA) YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE:

- Experience working within a Global team part of Investment Banking
- Extensive experience working with Oracle-based applications and strong background in writing complex SQL queries (Toad)
- Specific Knowledge of the ALGO v5/v4
- Collateral management of Credit Risk business areas
- DataStage, ETL, Cognos understanding
- Exposure to JIRA, Rational clearcase or Rational Team Concert
- Strong UNIX background, including command line processing and understanding Shell Scripts

AS A SENIOR PRODUCTION SUPPORT SPECIALIST (ALGO V5/V4, ORACLE, SQL, JIRA) THE PURPOSE OF THE ROLE WILL BE AS FOLLOWS:

- Manage and support the Collateral Management and balance Sheet Management business area
- Working at a high level involved in Incident Management, Customer Relationship Management, Problem Management and Disaster Recovery planning and Testing
- Ensuring batch SLA are met and any urgent issues are dealt with promptly
- Advising and training onshore/offshore teams (UK, Hong Kong, China, Brazil and India in Collateral Management)
- On-call support will be required on a Rota basis both during the week and weekends
- Ensure all SOX and Audit processes are adhered to and also to take part in Disaster recovery exercises
