Senior Production Planner

SENIOR PRODUCTION PLANNER

For one of our client, specialized in medical devices based in Schaffhausen we are looking for a SENIOR PRODUCTION PLANNER with experience in the internal supply chain (ie Trends and flow).

This is a long term CONTRACTING POSITION, starting ASAP until March 2017.

In this role you as Senior PLANNER will be responsible for issuing the detailed scheduling for a frozen period of 1-2 weeks taking in consideration the inventory targets, available capacity, customer demand and optimizing the sequence. Additionally, you will convert the planned order in process order and confirm the material readiness prior to developing frozen schedules. At least, you as a Planner Specialist will execute the internal follow up/alignment with the internal stakeholder (incl. QA, QC, Production, Regulatory, Finance, Master Data, and Warehouse) in order to release the production order in time.

YOU BRING TO THIS ROLE:

- At least 5 YEARS' experience as a PRODUCTION PLANNER WITH MINIMUM 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN THE PRODUCTION
- GOOD SAP KNOWLEDGE
- Experienced in supply/demand alerts (with NRP30/COC) and escalation to MPS/POC/EPL through STEM process based on the threshold
- Good management & collaboration skills
- Strong communication skills
- GMP experience will be a plus
- Fluency in ENGLISH and GERMAN
