Dear contractor,
My Medical Device client is looking for a SENIOR PLANNER to join them at their site in Schaffhausen in Switzerland for a 12 months contract.
I'm looking for someone who has a minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a planner. As a Senior Planner you must definitely have production/manufacturing knowledge, but not necessarily within the Medical Device Industry.
In your role as a Senior Planner you will do a great deal of higher-level scenario planning, as well as detail (2-3 weeks) and long-term planning. You will work on around 2-3 products which are very complex concerning their production processes.
Your week will start with a team meeting where you and your team look at the Manufacturing processes and progresses and the impact this has on the customer. Based on your findings you and your team will adapt manufacturing in order to meet customer needs. You will therefore be in daily contact with Production, Finance and the Warehouse departments.
Your team exists out of 10 planners who work on different products and sometimes use the same production lines, so working closely together is an important part of your role!
Do you understand the bigger picture of production planning? Are you up for a role which involves close and coordinated teamwork? Are you a logical and analytical thinker?
Ideally you'd also speak fluent German, but only English is also okay ;)
