Senior Procurement Project Specialist - Liverpool:
9 months + with very likely extensions.

My client is at the forefront of change in the Public Sector Procurement arena and we have a very interesting and exciting opportunity which has been brought about by the transformation agenda across Public Services Procurement. If you are CIPS with a minimum of 7 years' experience in a Project based role, this maybe of interest. You will provide added value through expertise in a broad number of categories to support my client in meeting its targets around standards, cost, service and risk and contract management.

Skills/Experience required:
* Experience of managing commercial relationships within challenging environments
* CIPS Qualified or suitable business equivalent
* Broad commercial experience including involvement in supplier management, strategic planning and high level negotiations
* Proven ability to develop relationships with suppliers and key stakeholders
* Influencing capability at the highest level with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers
* Demonstrate business risk analysis skills
