Senior Procurement Specialist

ASA's client is looking for a Senior Procurement Specialist to join their team, with the option to work in Edinburgh or Glasgow. This is a 5 month contract with the possibility of extension.

This role will involve:
- Developing and implementing procurement strategies
- Contributing to procurement reviews
- Supplier and contract managements
- Stakeholder management
- Ensuring continuous improvement of processes and performance

Skills/Experience required:
- Able to lead, plan and implement end-to-end procurement process for projects
- Track record of sourcing and tendering for a variety of goods and services whilst ensuring value for money
- Project Management knowledge and experience
- Strong background in stakeholder management
- Public Sector experience, whilst desirable, is not essential
- Membership of CIPS would be desirable
