Senior Procurement Specialist (IT), Rome, 3 months, €450 - €550 per day
The jobholder will operate in a lead capacity to conclude in a short period of time the drafting of an IT outsourcing contract, working with stakeholders in Italy, the Netherlands, Germany and possibly France, Spain and the Nordics, and lead the subsequent contract negotiations to finalise the contract. The contract will be awarded to an Italian company under Italian jurisdiction and law; legal expertise is provided. The role will include supporting key stakeholders with the design and implementation of sourcing strategies necessary to facilitate the delivery of the outsourced major IT project. It is expected that the jobholder be familiar with leading complex, cross-functional, sourcing projects in IT and managing international teams to deliver strategic sourcing solutions.
Candidates are required to work in Italy, the Netherlands and other European countries as required.
The jobholder will be based in Rome and may be asked to travel frequently.
Experience:
- Demonstrable procurement experience in IT, with experience of leading international sourcing projects from development of an outsourced contract through to final negotiations and contract award.
- Broad IT category background with exposure to outsourcing of IT projects and contract negotiation on an international basis.
- Excellent communicator, with gravitas to engage and influence 'C' level stakeholders.
- Fluent in English and Italian language.
