Senior Procurement Planner

This position will focus on the continuous improvement of the JDA/I2 planning system and various planning processes. The position will be responsible for driving change and performance by collaborating cross-functionally, defining and documenting key processes, and developing reports to be used cross-functionally.

The position will support the entire supply chain planning team.
*Collaborates with other departments to work on complex issues requiring detailed analysis and knowledge to apply best practice tools to the solution
*Develops/maintains accurate reports to communicate Planning performance to upper management as well as other functional departments
*Defines and proactively reports process changes and best-practices
*Assists Manager, Supply Chain Systems with process analysis and serves as lead when necessary
*Assists in the development of data standardization
*Serves as process knowledge base for supply chain planning team on day-to-day issues that require attention
*Key contact for daily improvement activities
*Leads efforts to find cross-functional improvement opportunities
*Defines and proactively reports process changes and best-practices
*Participates and contributes to the monthly S&OP process
*Revises essential planning processes to ensure the planning system is effectively planning future requirements
*Participates and provides recommendations in forecasting, production planning, and logistics planning activities

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Required
*Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field
*Strong mathematical/analytical skills combined with the ability to communicate complex issues
*5-7 years experience in planning of Procurement functions for both services and materials.
*Proficient in creating and executing SQL queries
*Capable of analysing and manipulating data to resolve data questions and issues
*Capable of analysing and constructing database tables and relationships
*Must be proficient in MS Office
*Knowledge of JDA/I2 or similar planning software

Desirable
*APICS or MCIPS certified, or other forecasting certification
*Experience as system architect of JDA/I2 or similar planning software
*Experience in ABPP module of JDA highly preferred
