Senior Procurement Officer

ASA are currently recruiting for a Senior Procurement Officer to develop and implement commodity strategies that support business requirements. The successful candidate will undertake strategic/high risk procurement activity including strategic supplier management and will provide instruction and guidance to the team of Procurement Officers.

Candidates must have:
-Proven track record in a procurement role within a regulated environment.
-Experience in developing and implementing commodity strategies
-Experience of supporting the delivery of Change.
-Experience of carrying out an end to end procurement process.
-Experience of preparing and managing tender documentation for both high value, complex and medium/high risk procurement requirements.
-Excellent relationship management skills
-Sound communication skills, able to effectively influence, persuade and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders
-Ability to critically analyse and evaluate a broad range of data
-Ability to lead and motivate project teams

This role will be based in Dumbarton on a 3 month contract.
