Senior Procurement Manager

The Senior Procurement Manager will take a lead role in the planning and delivery of the main procurements for the project.

This will involve leading the procurement of a particular category, and ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of a number of concurrent procurement actions, assisting with the management of procurement and commercial risks associated with each.

Relevant Skills and Experience:

* Membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (MCIPS)
* Project Management (eg Prince2) qualification or equivalent experience
* Seeing the big picture
* Making Effective Decisions
* Delivering at pace
Achieving commercial outcome
* Category Management - the process used to strategically manage areas of procurement spend and to leverage buying decisions in a highly co-ordinated way
* Sourcing - the process and skills required to buy goods and services that will deliver business outcome
