Senior Procurement Manager

SENIOR PROCUREMENT MANAGER with good strategic experience required for INITIAL 3 MONTH CONTRACT with PUBLIC SECTOR organisation in EDINBURGH

Your role will include:

- Oversee, roll out of PECOS. This task includes ensuring Directorates and Procurement team coordinate requisitioner and authoriser training
- Develop Contract Plan for next 12 months
- Preparation for Procurement Capability Assessment, gather appropriate evidence to support the assessment criteria.
- Attend Heads of Procurement meetings where the new assessment will be discussed.

Experience required:

- Experience operating at a senior management level
- Extensive procurement experience, ideally public sector
- Experience of strategic supplier management and contract management
