Interim Senior Procurement Manager required for household name based in the North West.

The Senior Procurement Manager will work with all departments of the business and deal with all aspect of Purchasing in relation to the product range (identification of supplier, correct specification of the product as per user requirements, price negotiation, contract terms, ordering, maintenance/support contracts, inventory management and disposal).

Duties include:
-Assisting in the management of the total life cycle of the given product/service and relationships both internal and external.
-To react quickly to business needs.
-Have a balanced judgement under pressure.
-Ensure seamless supply of goods or service to the Group.

Candidate ideals are:
-Senior procurement transformation experience
-Financial Services or Banking sector experience (desirable)
-Demonstrable experience of putting in place governance procedures within the Procurement function.

The Senior Procurement Manager is required to possess a degree of expertise and market knowledge in their Commodity area and to provide advise and guidance on Purchasing related matters to internal customers including strategy and supplier management.

Candidates must be available to start 3 weeks from application.
